Mary's Visit 2007: Cannes

Shopping in Cannes. Shopping focus was on clothes, shoes and purses made by local or European designers. We took the train in since it's adjacent to Rue D'Antibe the shopping strip. After a quick espresso, jazzed, we walked only 100 feet before hitting Lancel and Loup 47 stores where we snapped up shoes by a local designer and a handbag. We shopped our way along the Croisette down to the harbor stopping for picture with the yachts, where we had a nice thin crust pizza lunch. Fortified, we continued spending our way along the Croisette to XT where Mary discovered that she must be Roberto Cavalii's muse. His clothes looked so good on her the saleswomen pronounced "You are a Cavallii woman." Weighted down by shopping bags we had to call a taxi to take us home with our shopping booty. What a bicep workout!
